Madeira Beach offers that authentic old Florida vibe families crave – pristine white sand, stunning Gulf sunsets, and the lively John's Pass Village filled with fresh seafood restaurants and waterfront shops. Vacation rentals put you steps away from calm bay waters perfect for paddleboarding and shells that wash up after every storm.

Our condo rentals in Madeira Beach bring you to one of the most fun communities in the Tampa Bay area. Be sure to check out our Madeira Beach vacation rentals and nearby beach communities. Adult and young visitors enjoy exploring John's Pass (on Madeira Beach, next to a bridge that takes you south to Treasure Island) – a fun fisherman's village with restaurants, shops, bars and everything you need to make your day feel like one of those good old beach vacation days! The kids will love it, and the kid in you will appreciate it even more!

Madeira Beach is a beautiful white sand beach with amazing sunsets. Most of our condo rentals offer a view of the sunset from their own balconies. Resort Rentals offers condo rentals in select communities on Madeira Beach – such as Villa Madeira, Trillium and Arie Dam. Our Madeira Beach vacation rentals are either waterfront condominiums, town homes or private homes directly on the beach or on the bay.

If you enjoy dining, you will be happy to know that there are great restaurants along Gulf Boulevard to satisfy your taste for very casual to the finest dining experience. The famous Florida sunshine welcomes you to Madeira Beach all year round for a terrific family beach vacation or romantic getaway. Our quality condo rentals in Madeira Beach are convenient to shopping and dining, and are some of the best vacation rentals in Florida.

The laid-back vibe of Madeira Beach makes it perfect for families who want a genuine beach town experience without the overwhelming crowds you'll find at some of Florida's busier destinations. During our stays here, we've noticed how the beach maintains that old Florida charm – there's no wall of high-rises blocking the view, and the atmosphere feels refreshingly authentic. Local fishermen still bring in their daily catches at John's Pass, and you can watch pelicans diving for fish right from the shore.

Water activities dominate the scene here, as you'd expect from a barrier island community. We've rented jet skis from several vendors along the beach, and the calm waters of Boca Ciega Bay on the eastern side provide ideal conditions for paddleboarding and kayaking, especially when the Gulf gets a bit choppy. Jet ski rentals typically run $80-120 per hour depending on the season and vendor.

The kids in our group have spent countless hours collecting shells along the shoreline – Madeira Beach's position means shells wash up regularly, particularly after storms roll through overnight.

John's Pass Village deserves more than just a quick visit. We've made it a tradition to spend at least one full afternoon wandering through the shops, stopping for grouper sandwiches at one of the dockside restaurants, and watching the charter boats head out for sunset cruises. The Hubbard's Marina operates some excellent deep-sea fishing excursions if that's your thing, and they're remarkably patient with first-timers who've never baited a hook. Half-day trips start around $45-85 per person. The village also hosts regular live music on weekends, creating a festive atmosphere that spills out onto the boardwalk.

What really sets Madeira Beach apart from neighboring communities is the variety of dining options within walking distance of most rental properties. We've discovered everything from authentic Mexican tacos at family-run spots to fresh stone crab at upscale waterfront restaurants. The Friendly Fisherman on the southern end serves breakfast that actually justifies getting up early, and their portions could feed a small army. For those evenings when you'd rather stay in, several excellent seafood markets sell the day's catch so you can grill right at your condo.

The beach access points are well-maintained and rarely overcrowded, even during spring break season. We've found that walking north toward the residential areas gives you long stretches of nearly empty sand, perfect for morning jogs or sunset strolls. The water stays relatively shallow, typically 3-4 feet deep about 50-75 yards from shore, making it safe for younger children to splash around while parents relax nearby.
