Ways to stay fit on your beach vacation

If you don’t want to skip your workout routine while on vacation…

Most people picture themselves sitting on the beach drinking a cocktail until the sun sets when they think of vacation. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this since vacations are meant to be relaxing. Body and mind need a break once in a while.

That being said, some of us can’t seem to get away from exercising.

Walking or jogging on the beach, swimming, biking or playing beach volleyball are great ways to stay active on your beach vacation.

But if you feel you can’t or don’t want to skip the gym, the St. Pete/Clearwater area has a lot to offer. From traditional Gyms, Group Workouts and Yoga Studios to Boot Camps, Barre Workouts and CrossFit – you can find it all within a 15 minute drive from our beaches.

Going fishing on my Florida vacation – but do I need a fishing license?

There is a good question we’ve heard a lot from our valued customers: “Do I need a fishing license?”

Staying in one of our fully equipped vacation rentals has the advantage that you could prepare your own “Catch of the day”!

Whether you plan to fish off your vacation rental property, with your feet in the sand off the beach, from a fishing charter boat or from your own or rented vessel, you’ll probably ask yourself that question “Do I need a fishing license”?

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission answers this question and many others you may have.

Good luck with your next big catch and always remember “the staff at Resort Rentals really enjoys fresh fish” 😀 !
