I loved our stay at the Sunset Vistas! This was our first time in the area and the condo was perfect. It was my husband, our 2 yr old son and my parents. I loved being right on the beach, pools were great, tiki bar was fun, and the property looked newly updated. My mom was hoping for more entertainment or walkable options for dinner which is limited in Treasure Island. There were only a handful of bar & grills to choose from but we found ourselves driving to downtown St Petersburg a lot which was a 30 min drive and super fun.
The condo itself looked newly renovated and was very clean. Couple things I want to note but they didnt negatively impact our experience at all - the listing said no hairdryer but there were actually two. There weren't any beach chairs so we bought some and left them behind for the next guests. There's a bin by the pool with shared beach toys which was awesome for the kids. The pillows weren't great so if you're picky, bring your own...overall highly recommend!

Sunset Vista is a great place to stay in Treasure Island. The property has both a cafe and a beach bar and sits on a long open stretch of the beach. You can see the beach from the balcony - though the unit is set back a ways from the beachfront end of the property. The unit itself is clean, uncluttered and has nice artwork. The kitchen has the basic cookware and dishes but not much else (not even salt, pepper or oil). King size beds are a definite bonus, but beware they take so much floor space leaving little room to maneuver. Although hard to manage, beware of noise from moving chairs and kids playing in the unit above. On the plus side, amenities include beach towels and a washer & dryer. While there aren’t restaurants or retail in the immediate area, John’s Pass was only a 15-20 minute walk and has many options for dining and shopping. All in all, we would stay here again if we come back.

I believe all the units are angled to be able to see the Gulf. The pool was lovely, the children's pool and hot tub were clean and nice. The beach is very accessible. Our unit was charmingly decorated, truly fully furnished in the kitchen. The layout works well. We had two couples and that worked out. The smaller bedroom is a little tight, but having a king sized bed in there was a plus! Be aware that only a couple small soaps are supplied in the bathrooms, no shampoo or conditioner. There are hair dryers in each bath. Parking is tight and confusing at first, the front office can tell you where your space is. A large vehicle might be a liability. A guest pass for a second vehicle necessary. They park on a first-come, first-served basis, tho there were several guest spaces.
